Auberge du dernier lion de l'atlas is a recommended base in Azrou a 15 minute stroll via new city to the Medina with views of the hills, most rooms are on suite with heating, conference room and Moroccan Cuisine with a menu for you.
Hotels des Cedres, Beausejour are also available in the Medina for less.
Forest & Plateau accommodation
Presently we use our hosts overnight lodgings in remote mountain settlements for staying in and camping out.

Our hosts provide us with shelter, good food, fresh bread, water, but most of all their traditional Berber hospitality. Hosts also provide Mule & Donkey transport staging to the next settlement.

We have proposed construction of mountain Berber eco lodges. Juxtaposition to rural settlements to be run for the future comfort of our overnight guests, whilst providing our host's with economic well-being.

Buy & wear cheap wedding rings to avoid any culturally complicated questions.

Next morning we were invited to watch the community sheep shearing, liked it so much I bought a Donkey and headed south Donkey trekking for 2 months.

You don't have to be a mountaineer to enjoy the hills & plateaux; our local guides will assess your ability & comfort levels before assent!
